DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Active Texan Tinsel Trot\, a festive holiday 5K\, 10K race and 1 mile kids/family fun run at Lake Walk on December 20th. Grab your friends\, your family\, your team\, your club and come enjoy this fun festive evening race. We will finish the race as the sun sets on the green by the pavilion at Lake Walk. \n\n\nAwards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K races. All participants will receive a finisher medal. Additionally\, 5K and 10K participants will receive a race shirt\, while 1-Mile Fun Run finishers will receive a smaller medal. There are no age group awards or t-shirts for the fun run. \n\n\nFor 10k participants only\, a headlamp is highly recommended as the race will finish in the dark\, however the course is well lit for a majority of it by the streetlights. We will also have some glow sticks/bracelets for participants to wear.
