SEP 16, 2024, BRYAN, TX – USA Triathlon sanctions a local sprint triathlon at Lake Walk benefiting The First Win Foundation

The Active Texan Triathlon features a 400m open water swim in Lake Atlas, a 15-mile bike ride around notable West Bryan landmarks such as Traditions Club and Fiddlers Green, and a 3.1 mile run through Lake Walk

The Active Texan, from the words of John C. Webb Jr., encourages our community to “Be Relentless,” and donates proceeds from the race to benefit The First Win Foundation whose goal is to help children who lack basic nutritional and health resources that are vital to achieve success in school and beyond.

Traveling athletes are encouraged to stay at The Stella Hotel located directly across from the event venue and visit Destination Bryan for more information about how to enjoy a weekend full of Bryan hospitality.

There will be various road and lane closures along the race route. For more information about the bike and run race routes, click here. Lake Atlas Dr will be partially closed on the southbound parking lane and traffic will be directed around The Stella Hotel.
